Pomsky are a mix between the Pomeranian and the Siberian husky. However since the goal of pomsky breeders is to move towards becoming an AKC recognized breed the American Eskimo breed has been added as a breed allowed to be mixed into pomskies since the AKC requires at least 3 minimum breeds to be involved when it comes to forming new dog breeds. Those pomskies with American Eskimo in their bloodline will be noted with a X after their generation.
